We also have the capability and expertise to integrate most geoscience data sets used in exploration and production. With over 15 years’ experience working with multiple geoscience datasets in Oil & Gas and Renewable sectors, our seasoned technical personnel have gained the knowledge to successfully incorporate geological and petrophysical datasets such as stratigraphy, geochemistry, reservoir geology, seal rock analysis and petrophysical evaluations.
Our Company can summarise the datasets and provide a regional overview of the source, seals and reservoirs, creating solutions in terms of the client's specific problems and hence, determining improved exploration concepts.
Integrated Petrographical Studies
We offer detailed thin section descriptions globally on cores and cuttings. Reservoir rock sample studies, include general geological descriptions of core, sidewall core and cutting samples, lithology, texture and sedimentary structures leading to the interpretation of the environment of deposition and a forensic look at provenance in the area of interest
Core Assessments
Lithotype classification, rock classification, texture (grain shape, grain size, grain sorting and packing), detrital & authigenic mineralogy, assessment of pore system and reservoir quality.
Cuttings
Estimated percentages of petro-types, rock classification, texture, detrital and authigenic components, assessment of porosity and reservoir quality. We will include point counting and complement each sample by 2-3 Photomicrographs.
Cuttings petrography can, when required, be complemented by Rock Typing, in order to provide poro-perm analogues by comparing the targeted petro-types with similar rocks.
SEM sample prep. (gold/carbon coating) and analysis with 3 annotated images and SEM descriptions, with emphasis on the mineralogy of clays, other pore-filling to replacement phases, mineral structure and pore/micro-pore network.

Studies & Catalogues
Geothermal Rock Catalogue: A Geological Guide for Geothermal Exploration
Joiner Consultants and Dr Salvatore Morano have put together a NEW Geothermal Rock Catalogue.
The Catalogue has been constructed to analyse the main geological controls on geothermal plays. Legacy tabulated data (public domain) on geothermal reservoirs from all around the world has been compiled.
